Production Operatives

We ensure an understanding of our customer's businesses to whom we offer a wide range of services, including formulation development, material purchasing, manufacture and analysis.

We currently have a number of opportunities for Production Operators to join our busy team.

Majority of positions are shift work, 05:30 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 although we do have a few static shifts available. Training will be given.

Salary is £16,313 with an additional shift allowance of £2,707 for shift workers and overtime will be available.

Sales Account Manager (12 month fixed term contract)

We are currently looking for a dynamic Sales Account Manager to cover a 12 month maternity leave.  The ideal person will be familiar with the UK retail market ideally within Health and Beauty and has the ability to build relationships. 

The successful candidate will manage key accounts for well know high street names and conduct customer reviews by attending client meetings to help grow sales and deliver success.

Brand Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual with strong bias for action who is looking for a big challenge and significant responsibility. This individual will be able to set the vision and pace of achievement for innovation and business development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in landing the new strategy and 5 year innovation pipeline on a well known brand, helping to achieve short and long-term business targets. They will also support on other brands and the creation of new brands; building the initial concepts and preparing the brand ready to launch.

Role and Responsibilities

-         Creation of new brand identities and execution plan for roll out into the market.

-         Full ownership of Profit and Loss (P&L) and the delivery of the annual plan;

-         Ongoing management & implementation of the media activity, in store execution (inc. Shopper Marketing) and internal alignment            to support the annual plan;

-         Continuous development & roll out of an innovation roadmap;

-         Ongoing review of market trends, alongside the Dendron Insights Manager and Fleet Product Manager to identify opportunities              for new brands and then to scope out the size of prize;

Essential Requirements

-         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

-         Previous experience in a marketing operations role with P&L responsibility.

-         A balance of strategic, analytical and creative skills.

-         Project leadership and experience with strategy development with successful results.

-         Analytic capability to help lead business case, address business issues and opportunities and make strategic recommendations.

-         Understanding of digital and social media.

Preferred Skills

-         Experience working on a new brand to market or creating a new brand.

-         Strong track record of leading multi-functional teams, including direct work with RnD.

-         Experience of selecting, managing and reviewing agencies.

-         Experience working in the Health & Beauty industry.

-         Proven record of drive and initiative with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

-         Previous experience working within a large FMCG business

Warehouse Supervisor

Fleet Laboratories Ltd is an experienced manufacturer of a wide range of toiletry products, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. We ensure an understanding of our customer's businesses to whom we offer a wide range of services, including formulation development, material purchasing, manufacture and analysis.

As part of the DDD group of companies, we work with a diverse range of customers, building relationships some of which have lasted over 30 years.

We are currently looking for a self motivated Warehouse Supervisor with a current Fork Lift Truck License and a Class 2 license for 18 tonne lorry to join our busy team.

Main Responsibilities

·       Efficient Management of the day to day Warehouse Operation & drive performance against team KPI’s.

·       Effective Management of resource planning to complete all activities proficiently & accurately.

·       Ensure all reporting is compiled and completed to exacting standards as set out by the Group Warehouse & Logistics Manager.

·       Maintain excellent internal & external customer service.

·       Day to day liaison with external suppliers & contractors.

·       To adhere to all SOPs and identify any gaps/changes in the current processes and assist with development of new SOPs.

·       Management of Health & Safety in the workplace, including safety, equipment, PPE.

·       Control of Fork Lift Truck management to ensure full operational capacity and achieve daily targets.

·       Develop self & support others through the sharing of expertise & knowledge in department & or internal department. Train staff to exacting standards in all traits of warehousing function.

·       Establish Strong work relationships across shift(s) with counterparts, share knowledge, hold formal handovers.

Warehouse Compliance Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Compliance Administrator to join our established team.

Main Duties:

·          Leading investigations into stock inaccuracies

·          Ensuring work instructions are reviewed and team training is completed

·          Lead weekly GMP walkarounds

·          Lead Monthly GDP walkarounds

·          Downloading of temperature probes monthly – raising deviations where applicable

·          Providing cover for Warehouse Administrator during holidays / busy periods

·          Supporting operational projects when required

·          Leading periodic audits across warehouses

·          Ensuring processes, procedures are revised accordingly

·          Providing support towards the Warehouse Manager when required.

Purchasing Assistant

We are currently have an opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join our fantastic team.

Reporting to the Chemical Buyer, to assist in providing a focal point for all purchasing administration issues, including the entering of official POs, communicating delivery dates to relevant individuals within the company, maintaining product codes and analysis of MRP. 

Key Deliverables:

  • To assist in ensuring the effective and accurate processing of purchase orders to each relevant supplier.
  • Provide accurate delivery dates on incoming supplier orders to our planning team.
  • To process order acknowledgements promptly and check them for quantity and price accuracy.

·       To analyse MRP (training will be provided)

  • To ensure that the administration of the Purchasing office is efficient and up to date at all times.
  • To liaise with the Goods In department regarding shipments coming into the company.
  • To take responsibility for, and promote, the health, safety and welfare within the Purchasing area, whilst complying with the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Recruitment Criteria:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience.
  • Ideally be able to demonstrate experience in a purchasing environment, or experience in office administration.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Can show excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can show a good level of computer literacy, preferably showing knowledge of ERP systems although training will be given.
  • Show ability and understanding of the need for attention to detail.
  • Can work with little supervision but can also work as part of a team, building strong interpersonal relationships.

Head of Supply Chain

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager who has a background in manufacturing.


This role will be responsible for managing all related functions including materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control and warehousing.

Essential Functions:

  • Define supply chain strategy for the business and achieve year on year budgeted improvements in material cost productivity
  • Manage the current supplier base and build operational relationships with new suppliers
  • Maintain and improve operational efficiency level through on time stock availability
  • Oversee stock control, planning, purchasing and organising incoming goods
  • Direct management of supply chain and planning team
  • Experience within a lean manufacturing environment
  • Ownership of the supply response to the demand forecast of the Sales & Operations Planning process.
  • Monitor vendor performance regarding product quality, on-time delivery and conformance with commercial terms
  • Work closely with external suppliers to deliver cost reduction, quality and delivery improvements
  • Ensure warehousing and logistics processes are aligned in the supply chain to meet customer expectations including the goods inwards management process and the management of the delivery fleet

Experience Required:

  • We are looking for a hands on manager with significant man management experience
  • Excellent empathy skills, training skills and approachable in regards to explaining and delivering the importance of supply chain
  • Candidates must have implemented a strategy in a previous role
  • Experience of ERP/MRP or related product specific forecasting in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Must be knowledgeable in planning and forecasting systems
  • Practical experience in the application of continuous improvement techniques in a manufacturing environment
