National Account Executive - Dendron

Part of the DDD group of companies, Dendron is a marketing, sales and distribution company that develops OTC healthcare, toiletries and beauty brands for sale through all trade channels.

Dendron deals with all aspects of marketing, sales and distribution for its own brands and those of other brand owners.

Due to a recent promotion of one of our team we have a fantastic opportunity for a National Account Executive to join us.

Working within Pharmaceutical we are looking for someone who is ready to take the next step taking full responsibility for our famous brand-named accounts.

You will be working with Grocers that are ranked within the top four of their industry, managing trade promotions from planning to delivery and managing a large portfolio of Business to Retail and Business to Business accounts.

This is a home based position but working from the Head Office in Watford one day a week and attending meetings when required.

Head of Supply Chain

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a background in manufacturing.


This role will mainly be responsible for managing all related functions including materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control and warehousing.

Essential Functions:

·        Define supply chain strategy for the business and achieve year on year budgeted improvements in material cost productivity

·        Manage the current supplier base and build operational relationships with new suppliers

·        Maintain and improve operational efficiency level through on time stock availability

·        Oversee stock control, planning, purchasing and organising incoming goods

·        Direct management of supply chain and planning team

·        Experience within a lean manufacturing environment

·        Ownership of the supply response to the demand forecast of the Sales & Operations Planning process.

·        Monitor vendor performance regarding product quality, on-time delivery and conformance with commercial terms

·        Work closely with external suppliers to deliver cost reduction, quality and delivery improvements

·        Ensure warehousing and logistics processes are aligned in the supply chain to meet customer expectations including the goods inwards management process and the management of the delivery fleet

Experience Required:

·        We are looking for a hands on manager with significant man management experience

·        Excellent empathy skills, training skills and approachable in regards to explaining and delivering the importance of supply chain

·        Candidates must have implemented a strategy

·        Experience of ERP/MRP or related product specific forecasting in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

·        Must be knowledgeable in planning and forecasting systems

·        Practical experience in the application of continuous improvement techniques in a manufacturing environment

·        End to end Supply Chain understanding

Assistant Product Manager - Fleet

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Product Department for an Assistant Product Manager. This is a rare opportunity for someone to develop their career in Product Management.

This role plays a key part in the business with the primary focus being to support the Product Development team in the effective and timely delivery of their projects.

The ideal person will have good communications skills with the tenacity to work across other teams to resolve issues and drive for results, good organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

Development Technician - Fleet

Fleet Laboratories Ltd is an experienced manufacturer of a wide range of toiletry products, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. We now have an opportunity for a Development Technician who has held a similar role or has a scientific background in cosmetic science.

The role will support the development team in the development & testing of COSMETIC products manufactured at DDD.

You will be responsible for:

 

  • The preparation and manufacture of lab batches
  • The calibration of equipment
  • The testing of products (stability, compatibility)
  •  Preparation of submission sample to customers
  •  Posting samples to customers or test houses
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory
  • The ordering and replenishment of lab consumables.
  • General laboratory work and all other tasks as seen fit by the development Chemist/ Packaging Technologist

Production Operatives

  • The packaging of products to specified requirements and maintaining optimum output rates without dropping below the standards of quality given in the Company Policy Statement.
  • To work as part of a team to maximise line efficiency.
  • To observe Health & Safety and Hygiene standards at all times, (Good Manufacturing Practice).

 SCOPE OF THE JOB

  • Must be able to carry out a variety of routine manual tasks with minimum guidance.
  • Will be processing all product and packaging components as allocated.
  • Good understanding of written and verbal English

Head of Packaging Development

We are looking for a Head of Packaging Development, someone who can lead the team of packaging technologists in the delivery NPD and EPD projects and work with the wider business to set the strategic agenda for internal and external customers with regards to packaging sustainability and sourcing.

The ideal candidate will have worked in FMCG packaging development, worked with multiple and varied customers, and have a keen interest in product design and sustainability.

Responsibilities Include:

Support all Packaging development required across to business

Support director of product in developing product strategy for DDD

Develop the sustainability agenda for DDD and translate to our customers

Create a high performing team servicing the most demanding customers

Propose and lead packaging improvement projects

HSE Manager

The ideal person will need a background in manufacturing and production, have a recognised HSE qualification, experience of training, experience of reviewing and writing Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations in line with best practice.

Essential

  • 3 years minimum experience within a similar role
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • ‘Train the Trainers’ or equivalent certification

 Preferred

  • Safety or Environmental degree
  • Demonstrable evidence of energy consumption savings

Account Manager Fleet

We are currently looking for a dynamic Account Manager who has the ability to build relationships. Experience of manufacturing, chemicals, fragrance, flavours or ingredients would be ideal along with a tenacious appetite for improving client relationships through nurturing our clients.

The successful candidate will manage key accounts, conduct customer reviews by attending client meetings to help deliver success.

Commercial Analysis Summer Internship (2-3 months)

Applications are invited from highly analytical finance or business studies undergraduates.  Other degree courses may also be considered. 

 

  • We are currently looking for a highly analytical superstar to join the DDD business for 8-12 weeks based out of our office in Watford.
  • You’ll be joining a business that is going through a significant period of change.  We’re looking for a summer intern that can help us identify the next big things in the health and beauty sector.
  • This position requires excellent data and analytical skills.  You will already have a thorough grasp and detailed knowledge with excel spreadsheets.  You will also be happy exploring profit and loss accounts and annual company reports.
  • Finally, you’ll be at ease dealing with senior stakeholders.  Even though this is a short summer internship, we’ll make sure you get some great exposure with senior members of our sales and marketing team!

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Highly analytical – good with numbers, financial information, company accounts and working with a lot of data.
  • A high standard of spoken and written English required – you should be able to turn the complex data into simple messages.
  • We need someone that can act quickly based on verbal briefings.
  • Highly organised and methodical in their approach.
  • Finally, we are looking for someone who displays a high degree of curiosity.

The successful candidate will manage key accounts for well know high street names and conduct customer reviews by attending client meetings to help grow sales and deliver success.
